10 Minutes Brisk Walking Per Day Reduce the Risk of Early Death

Do not underestimate the benefits of brisk walking. Health experts state that a 10 minute quick walk per day can reduce the risk of premature death by 15 percent.

The fast road suggestion was issued by Public Health England. The suggestion is primarily addressed to everyone who has entered the age of 40 years.

Although the 10 minutes fast road a day does not make a group of people who have been lazy to move to meet the standards of physical activity. Still they will benefit from lowering high blood pressure, weight, depression and anxiety, diabetes risk, and muscle problems, such as lower back pain.

The UK government even promotes a free application called Active 10 to encourage increased community activity. The application can be used to monitor the number of footsteps as well as provide health tips.

"Walk on foot, do not ride a car just to go to the store or lunch place. Walking can extend your healthy years, "said Deputy Medical Director of Public Health Office UK, Jenny Harries, as quoted by the BBC.

Walker, Liam Quegley, 60 years old, said in the past his parents always took him on foot to various places. But, now, the activity is forgotten and make weight increase.

"I love the way. And I decided to do something, "he said. Liam has now joined the Stockport Walkers community and is accustomed to climbing as far as 16 kilometers. British health authorities hope the success of moving middle-aged age groups will have a positive impact on generations below them.
